Te Houtaewa Challange - The Annual  90 Mile Beach Challenge

The Yearly event-  the Te Houtaewa Challenge is under way again (March 2007) in this event contestants run the length of 90 Mile Beach (Ultra Marathon), a half Marathon and even a walking Marathon is also happening so there are no excuses to not get on your running shoes.

 

 
 

The Annual IRB Race  -


An Inflatable boat race down the length of Ninety Mile Beach run by the Surf Life Savers.  The yearly event attracts people from all over New Zealand.
