    Greetings and welcome to Ahipara in the beautiful Far North, gateway to Te Oneroa a Tohe (90 Mile Beach).
  The perfect base for your Far North adventure, or just relax kick back and take in the expansive views of Tauroa Point, Te Kohanga (Shipwreck Bay) and of course the beach that goes on for miles.

   We are only a few minutes walk from the beach – an easy stroll down.

Your hosts, Simon and Liz, are long time residents of Ahipara with vast amounts of local knowledge.

 We are here to help you with your adventure and ensure that your stay is the best and most memorable for you.

  

  We are available to personally take you on a tipi haere (look around), trekking through native bush, taking in the beautiful views as well as experiencing the massive sand dunes, kayak longline fishing, kaimoana (shellfish) gathering and to experience seeing a local artist weaving flax (harakeke).

   Koha (donations) accepted for these experiences with weather and tide permitting! Please note that we leave minimum impact on the environment with all our activities.
